TRIPOLI (Thomson Financial) - German energy group RWE and Libyan partner National Oil Company (NOC) said they have discovered a new oil well in the Sirte basin, some 700 km to the east of Tripoli in Libya.
The well, located in the C1 NC-193 block, produced a flow of 393 barrels per day during a first test. RWE holds a 32 pct interest in the block, while state oil group NOC owns the remaining 68 pct. tf.TFN-Europe_newsdesk@thomson.com |
