The Bank of Valletta was amongst the sponsors that helped the organisation of the ‘Malta National Day’ in Tripoli, Libya, earlier this month.
This event offers the Maltese community in Libya to meet Libyan personalities from the economic, political and cultural spheres. This year, the guests for the day included Libyan entities engaged in commercial, banking, industrial, aviation, education and other important services. Bank of Valletta has been providing services in Libya for the last 30 years. The aim of the bank’s offices in Tripoli is to promote bilateral investment between the two countries. This office is in a position to offer Maltese entrepreneurs updated information on the latest developments in Libya which may influence their line of business, said Charles Saliba, the bank’s manager in Libya. |
