Sunday, 7 October, 2007: Tatarstan's TNG Group, a subsidiary of Tatneft, has formed the Tahara Petroleum Services Company joint venture with a Libyan company, the company told Interfax. The joint venture, which was formed in August 2007 in accordance with requirements stipulated in Libyan law, will provide seismic survey services, oil well studies, drilling and oil well maintenance a representative said. TNG Group has refused to give the name of its Libyan partner or the share allotment in the joint venture. TNG Group, a Tatneft subsidiary operating in Libya, won Tatneft's tender to provide seismic survey method 2D services. [New Eorope]
