RBC, 26.03.2007, Moscow 18:51:55.Gazprom and Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) have signed a production sharing agreement (PSA) for the right to carry out hydrocarbon exploration and production as part of Area N19 of Libya's Mediterranean Sea shelf, the Russian holding's press office reported. The signing took place during a Gazprom delegation's visit to Libya.
Gazprom won a relevant hydrocarbon exploration and development tender on December 20, 2006 receiving license for developing an oil field for a period of up to 30 years. Gazprom is planning to invest more than $200m in the project, which will become the Russian giant's second largest in Libya. |
