Libya's National Oil Corp (NOC) said it signed oil exploration deals with three consortia headed by Germany's Wintershall, Japan's Inpex and Canada's PetroCanada.
The permits, awarded in December following a bidding round, involve a consortium of Wintershall as operator and MOECO (Mitsui Oil Exploration), a consortium of Inpex as operator and MOECO, and a consortium of PetroCanada as operator and Repsol, an NOC statement said.
