The Great Jamahiriya (Libya) and Egypt have signed three agreements under the frame work of economic integration at the conclusion of the works of the 9th Session of the joint Libyan-Egyptian High Committee Thursday afternoon in Cairo.

These three agreements concerned the organizing the terms of use of man power, establishing free industrial, trade and service Zone between both states and an agreement regarding the amendment of encouraging and ensuring of investment agreement between both states.

The Great Jamahiriya and Egypt also signed nine executive programmes regarding the bilateral integration agreements in several domains.
These executive programmes cover the fields of tourism, higher education, sports, youth, environment, social welfare, general education, and cultural cooperation.

The Great Jamahiriya and Egypt also signed six memoranda of understanding within the economic bilateral integration.

These memoranda of understanding covered cooperation and investment in Africa, establishing a unified border gate in Emsa'd- Asaloum, joint tourism zone, cooperation in information, participation in international fairs and markets and mutual recognition of technical conformity certificates.

The Works of the 9th Session of the Joint Libyan Egyptian High Committee concluded Thursday afternoon by signing 18 agreements, programmes and memoranda of understanding.

The minutes of the meeting of this session were signed by the Secretary of the General People's Committee of Libya and the Prime Minister of Egypt in attendance of the Secretaries and Ministers members of the High Committee, and the economic activists in both countries and Secretary of the following up of the Libyan Egyptian Relations Office in Cairo.

The minutes provides for the promotion of cooperation between both countries and reach the integration and merge in trade exchange and joint investments, health, education, tourism, cultural information cooperation, scientific, higher and technical education.

In addition the judiciary, consular, security, woman, family, social solidarity, communications, transportation, housing, utilities, services, scientific search, environment, youth, sport and manpower were covered.

The minutes also included an agreement to hold the 10th Session of the Joint High Committee in Tripoli, Libya.
